Tree Planting Ceremony


Led by Dr. Ko Ko Kyaw Soe, rector of Meiktila University, and Green Environment and Conservation Committee of the University, the tree planting ceremony for the raining season was held in the compound of No.35 police battalion at 7 a.m. on August 10, 2015. The trees planted there were: Gold Mohur, Kokko, Tamarind, Uclip, Tamar, Yaetamar, Mezali, Eigarit, Mango, and Bandar. The total number of trees planted was 600. Those who planted the trees were Dr. Ko Ko Kyaw Soe, Rector, Dr. Khin Maung Htay and Dr. Khin Phyu Phyu Aye, Professors, Dr. Thandar, Professor and head of Botany Department and chairperson of Green Environment and Conservation Committee, Dr. Ni Ni Aung, Professor and head of Chemistry Department, other Professors, teachers and students of Meiktila University.
